Figs

My DH and I have come on holiday to spain to visit his parents they have a fig trees in thier garden, I love fresh figs they are ready for picking so I have been searching on recipes , I have found one on drying them so giving it a go will take some photos and publish them when we get home , do hope it works also going to try one with figs and lemon syrup and another with baked figs and toffee ..... yum yum I am drooling the only sad thing is I cant make any cards while I am out here so need to do other things

New Card

I have been really busy the last week and also one of my dogs became really ill at the weekend so not had much time to create cards but yesterday while tending to the sick I was able to play I have made this card. I hope to enter it into Just magnoila in the garden http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/ if I can work out how to link it there. This week the theme is flowers and butterflys well anyone who knows me will understand I love butterflys no idea where I found this one from its been in my stash for a long time the paper is from pink petticoat and I made my bow using the bow easy. the words are from elzybells I love her stamps.

First attempt at a bow using an easy bow the stamp is called being together by Gillian Robert I have used my nestie labels one the paper was from tescos and I have used some childrens crayons to colour in with and my one new copic ciao R00 for flesh tone the ribbon was picked up at a small craft shop.

Love the stamp I think it will be useful for many occasions

Its wednesday and yet again it has been pouring with rain just nipped out and checked the pumpkins found three yucky slugs so they got flying lessons I have been busy making some more cards as well today and I have finnaly managed to understand the bow easy such an easy tool thanks to sharon on http://notimetostamp.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/ for having such a wonderful gadgit It will come in very handy I also ordered two new magnolia stamps that I have been drooling over as well.
